The Company

YU KEE Food Company Limited (hereinafter named as “YU KEE”) is one of the key food chain stores in Hong Kong.  YU KEE was established in 1990, initially as small family store. We have since than grown and expanded into a chain of 70 stores all round Hong Kong.  With a work force of over a thousand people, we are all dedicated to create great value for money to our customers in Hong Kong.  Each day our 70 stores serve over 109,794 customers with over 329,320 number of transactions.

YU KEE carries a huge variety of food and beverages – from frozen food to fresh fruits, canned juice to fresh vegetables, dried food to Chinese Herbs – sourced from all over Asia.  In order to live up to our pledge of great value, we directly import our products from farmers and manufacturers in China, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.  Our small but shrewd purchasing team travels all over Asia to bring our Hong Kong customers fresh and quality food at bargained cost.  With a view to introducing more food and beverages varieties to our customers, we have recently starred sourcing from European and other western suppliers.

Our strong logistic team provides swift and efficient 24-hours transportation arrangements to ensure freshness of our food supply.  Different strategies are employed to ensure low cost but timely delivery, ranging from direct truck delivery from our fresh food supplies in China to low cost shipping arrangements from canned food suppliers.  All our suppliers are our business partners and we sort to co-operate closely with them to create win –win positions.

In order to guarantee the food quality, enhance the logistic management and communicate with the food producer more efficiently, our company has established an Office in China since 2002. We are looking forward to developing our services in the prospective market – Mainland China.

 Our non-prime but conveniently located shops – another reason why YU KEE can supply quality food and beverage at low price in a sustainable manner – are carefully plotted to ensure optimal coverage with low overhead.  Our 65 stores are appropriately located around Hong Kong.
